WahlcoMetroflex Acquired by Senior plc
WahlcoMetroflex, Inc. (“WMX”) announced that it has been acquired by Senior plc (LSE: SNR). WahlcoMetroflex headquartered in Lewiston, Maine is a leading engineering and manufacturing company providing dampers and expansion joints for air pollution reduction systems, power generation and process applications. Senior plc, headquartered in Rickmansworth, England is an international manufacturing group with operations in 11 countries.
WahlcoMetroflex (www.wmxinc.com), designs, manufactures and services a broad range of high performance isolation and flow control dampers, metallic and non-metallic expansion joints and related duct systems. WMX products are designed for use on air pollution control systems and are in service in over 5,000 installations worldwide in power plants, refineries, chemical plants, pulp and paper mills, steel mills, incinerators and numerous other combustion and hot gas systems. These products include bypass diverters for combined cycle gas turbine applications, a broad array of louver dampers, guillotine dampers, butterfly dampers, as well as metal and fabric expansion joints for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems and flue gas desulphurization (FGD) systems.

This year WahlcoMetroflex will be participating in Power-Gen International’s 20th Exhibition and Trade Show. This year’s Show will take place from December 2nd to December 4th in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center, We will be located at Booth #1912.
WahlcoMetroflex will be highlighting its proven technical expertise in Flue Gas Desulphurization Systems (FGD’s) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) damper technology. Economic Achievement Award Presented To Wahlcometroflex
Wahlcometroflex’s innovation in the design and manufacturing of expansion joints, dampers and diverters for the power generation industry is recognized by the Economic Growth Council.

International Trade Mission
In continuing its growth initiative through globalization, WahlcoMetroflex participated in its second annual International Trade Mission with a delegation from the State of Maine (pictured here in Lyon, France). The company’s primary goals are to learn more about traditional international industrial market needs, to meet with prospective clients, and to identify potential sales representation overseas. France is the eighth largest trading partner with the US, and its economy is the fifth largest in the world with a GDP of approximately one-sixth the size of that of the US. Evan Spoerl, WahlcoMetroflex Sales Manager (seventh from left in picture), represented the company on this year’s Trade Mission.
