Guillotine Dampers
WahlcoMetroflex guillotine dampers are available in three basic configurations to meet a wide range of applications. For severe applications, WahlcoMetroflex offers a line of fully bonneted guillotines. Many customers favor the “Flex-Seat™” and “Thrust-Seat™” premium designs for applications where extreme operating conditions are encountered and high performance is required.
“WGD™” guillotine dampers are designed for general applications and simplified maintenance. They incorporate a cost effective, single thickness, solid plate blade and many features facilitating maintenance such as self-cleaning drives and seal elements accessible from outside the ductwork.
WahlcoMetroflex guillotine units incorporate self-cleaning rack and pinion drives which positively drive the blade in both directions without the possibility of mechanical binding that may occur with chain driven mechanisms.
